� r <br /> • <br /> • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT: <br /> Effective 5/14/03 , the Mayor, or his designee, is authorized to establish special fares <br /> for special events and tailored transit services that conform to the policy established by <br /> this resolution. <br /> Special Events and Tailored Services Fare policy: <br /> 1. Pre-paid tickets, designated passes, or cash shall be the only fare media accepted <br /> for special services. <br /> 2. Transfers shall not be issued on special services trips. <br /> 3. Special services shall be priced to assure that, over the course of the service, <br /> operating costs will be recovered by the fares. <br /> 4. Special services shall not take priority over scheduled fixed route operations. <br /> 5. Special services, once scheduled and published, will not be cancelled without due <br /> process. <br /> 6.
