There was no response. Public Hearing Commissioner Dutton asked if there was anyone else who wished to speak. There was no response. Motion: Commissioner Olivers made a motion to close the public hearing. Commissioner Trautman seconded the motion. Vote: All in Favor. Motion Carried. Commission Dutton asked if there was any discussion. There was no discussion. Motion: Commissioner Olivers made a motion to approve the resolution in support of the Six Year TIP. Commissioner Trautman seconded the motion. Vote: Commissioner Olivers, yes; Commissioner Trautman, yes; Commissioner Loup, yes; Commissioner Ryan, yes; Commissioner Ebert, yes; and Chairman Dutton, yes. Motion Carried. Item #2: Public hearing and decision on the recommendation for the Shoreline Master Program Amendments to implement the Settlement Agreement on the appeal of the Shoreline Master Program Allan Giffen introduced Eric Laschever and Mary Cunningham. Eric Laschever, outside legal counsel on the City's shoreline master program litigation, presented a power point presentation. He stated that the City was focused on a set of amendments to the shoreline master program that would accomplish three different things: 1) Implement a settlement agreement to the litigation 2) Housekeeping amendment to the Comprehensive Plan which will add an interim urban conservancy agriculture designation in the Marshlands area, which is part of the settlement. The designation will make the comprehensive plan consistent with the shoreline master program. 3) That the work involved in the update counts towards the GMA requirements for critical areas in shoreline jurisdiction.
