Commissioner Trautman seconded the motion. <br /> Vote: Commissioner Olivers, yes; Commissioner Trautman, yes; Commissioner Loup, yes; <br /> Commissioner Ryan, yes; Commissioner Ebert, yes; and Chairman Dutton, yes. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Item #2: Public hearing and decision on the recommendation for the Shoreline Master <br /> Program Amendments to implement the Settlement Agreement on the appeal of the <br /> Shoreline Master Program <br /> Allan Giffen introduced Eric Laschever and Mary Cunningham. <br /> Eric Laschever, outside legal counsel on the City's shoreline master program litigation, <br /> presented a power point presentation. He stated that the City was focused on a set of <br /> amendments to the shoreline master program that would accomplish three different things: <br /> 1) Implement a settlement agreement to the litigation <br /> 2) Housekeeping amendment to the Comprehensive Plan which will add an interim <br /> urban conservancy agriculture designation in the Marshlands area, which is part of <br /> the settlement. The designation will make the comprehensive plan consistent with <br /> the shoreline master program. <br /> 3) That the work involved in the update counts towards the GMA requirements for <br /> critical areas in shoreline jurisdiction. <br />
