The amendments would allow the following <br /> modifications to the Agreement: 1)Conveyance of additional land to the City of Everett to be used for park <br /> purposes; 2)Creation of additional small lots for development, including a PUD substation; 3)Use of metal <br /> building materials subject to Planning Director approval; 4)Additional commercial uses would be allowed in <br /> the retail nodes; and 5)The requirement for certain landscaping improvements for retail uses would be <br /> eliminated for lots in the retail nodes. The proposed changes have been reviewed and approved by Rinker, <br /> the City and FSA. The Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed amendments and recommends city <br /> Council approval. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt the Resolution approving the <br /> "Amended and Restated Development Agreement"between the City,Rinker, and Food Services of America. <br /> 51 <br />
