• V <br /> Section 5: Upon annexation, zoning will be adopted for the annexation area in <br /> zoning categories consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and <br /> through zoning classifications which implement the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Section 6: There are approximately 353 registered voters residing in the area <br /> proposed for annexation. <br /> Section 7: The Snohomish County Auditor is requested to place on the ballot on the <br /> November 8, 2005, election date the annexation of the Cascade Highlands <br /> /Hilton Place annexation area as described in Exhibits 1 and 2. <br /> Section 8: The election shall be an election which takes place at the polling locations <br /> on November 8, 2005, and through absentee ballots. <br /> Section 9: The City Attorney has drafted the ballot title for the Cascade Highlands/ <br /> Hilton Plane annexation and shall appear on the ballot substantially as <br /> follows: <br /> In response to requests by residents, the Everett City Council passed Resolution No. <br /> 5635 calling for an annexation election. The area would be taxed at the same rate as <br /> property within Everett, except for existing indebtedness. The land use designations <br /> would be single family as in the adopted Comprehensive Plan.
