FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br /> JOHN PRICE FOR APPROVAL OF A ONE <br /> YEAR EXTENSION OF AN INTENT TO REZONE REZONE #02-002 <br /> GREEN DRAKE APARTMENTS <br /> (formerly Casino Ridge Apartments) <br /> RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that a one-year extension of <br /> an Intent to Rezone for a 2.9 acre site at 310 <br /> West Casino Road, Everett, Washington, be <br /> granted. The Intent to Rezone allows for the <br /> rezoning of the subject property from an <br /> R-3 PRD to an R-3 zoning designation. This <br /> Intent to Rezone should remain in effect. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> John Price, 12515 Avondale Road, Redmond, Washington 98052 (Applicant) requested <br /> approval of a one-year extension of an Intent to Rezone for a 2.9 acre site on property <br /> located at 310 West Casino Road, Everett, Washington (subject property). The Intent to <br /> Rezone was approved by the Everett City Council on November 6, 1996, in Resolution <br /> #4351. The extension granted was for five years with an expiration date of January 29, 2002. <br /> The Applicant seeks a one-year extension of this Intent to Rezone. <br /> A hearing was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on May 23, 2002.
