February 1, 2017 <br /> The following individuals spoke in opposition to sections of the proposed <br /> ordinance, and expressed concerns relating to safety, dynamic pricing, <br /> and regulation of transportation network companies. <br /> Mark Ford, Seattle <br /> George Miller Jr., Snohomish <br /> Amanuel Debesay, Seattle <br /> Adisu Aramde, Edmonds <br /> Council Member Murphy inquired about the status of a side-by-side <br /> comparison relating to insurance requirements that was discussed at last <br /> week's Council meeting. <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that based on comments last week, staff is <br /> preparing a response that will be presented to Council tomorrow. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to approve the following consent item: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 7075 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $3,873,187.38 for the period of January 14, 2017, through January 20, <br /> 2017. <br /> RESOLUTION — ELECTRONIC TRANSFER <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 7076 authorizing electronic transfer claims <br /> against the City of Everett in the amount of $5,978,034.97 for the <br /> period of November 1, 2016, through November 30, 2016. <br /> 41 <br />
