February 8, 2017 <br /> Considerable discussion ensued. <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to table Council Bill 1701-06, proposed ordinance <br /> regulating For-Hire Vehicles and repealing the existing For-Hire <br /> Ordinance under Section 17 pending Public Safety Subcommittee <br /> recommendations. <br /> Council Member Murphy requested the ordinance be presented to the <br /> Council for action fairly soon. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Tuohy who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Vice President Franklin stated the ordinance revision will be <br /> placed on the next Public Safety Subcommittee meeting agenda. <br /> Per Council Procedures, Council Vice President Franklin referred Council <br /> Bill 1701-06, proposed ordinance regulating For-Hire Vehicles and <br /> repealing the existing For-Hire Ordinance under Section 17, to the Public <br /> Safety Subcommittee for further discussion. <br /> AGREEMENT — BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREAS IN THE CITY'S <br /> DOWNTOWN <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with BDS Planning & Urban Design to assist in renewing, <br /> expanding and creating new Business Improvement Areas in the <br /> City's downtown, in an amount not to exceed $57,000. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Tuohy who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 54 <br />
