9 <br /> DAHP Contract#FY06-61016-003 <br /> Attachment#2 <br /> Scope of Work <br /> WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED: The GRANTEE shall conduct the following activities: <br /> A. PUBLIC EDUCATION ACTIVITY 1 <br /> 1. Research, design, and produce an ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS OF EVERETT <br /> HANDOUT that shall be subject to the following: <br /> a) The GRANTEE shall hire a professional design firm to create <br /> approximately 20 architectural drawings of historic details common to <br /> historic architecture in Everett. <br /> b) The handout should be made available via the Internet. The handout <br /> should also be compatible with the existing "Hands On!" handbook <br /> available in Everett. <br /> a) The GRANTEE will explore ways to integrate the "Hands On!" handbook <br /> into a digital format and include it on Everett's Historic Preservation web <br /> site. <br /> b) The GRANTEE will take photographs of architectural details to <br /> accompany the architectural drawings produced by the design firm. <br /> e) The GRANTEE shall provide all copy text for the Architectural Details of <br /> Everett Handout. <br /> c) Prior to completion, a draft of the handout shall be submitted to the <br /> DEPARTMENT for review and comment. First draft of said brochure <br /> shall be submitted to the DEPARTMENT no later than May 26, 2006. A <br /> second submittal of draft materials shall be submitted no later than July <br /> 21;2006. The DEPARTMENT shall be afforded a period of 30 days to <br /> review the draft and return comments to the GRANTEE. If the <br /> DEPARTMENT has not submitted comments after the 30-day review <br /> period, the GRANTEE shall assume that the DEPARTMENT has no <br /> recommendations for changing the draft brochure. <br /> d) In their entirety the following acknowledgement, disclaimer, and non- <br /> discrimination statements shall be included in the publication: <br />
