On February 24, 1999 the Everett City Council approved the Regional Pass and Fare Reconciliation Program Agreement. The Agreement established the "Puget Pass" program as the region's initial effort to provide a seamless fare media for public transit customers who travel on two or more public transit providers in the Puget Sound area. Amendment Number One was approved by council on December 8, 2004 and extended the original agreement to December 31, 2005. Amendment umber Two updates Exhibit B (Fares and Fare Tables) and acknowledges that Puget Passes are now sold through Sound Transit Ticket Vending Machines. Amendment Number Two has no financial impact to the City of Everett. Except as expressly provided in this Amendment, all terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain in force.
