An original play by Everett authors, John LaPlante and Arden Flom. <br /> These two authors have collaborated on a moving piece of theatre. It is an unusual insight into <br /> the realities of war and all that implies. Hear the stories of the nurses, the soldiers, the <br /> brothers, the sisters and the smallest victims of a war known as Vietnam. Funds will be used to <br /> cover the cost of the production and to provide publicity. <br /> Everett Theatre Society 300-400 5,775 1,675 1,500 <br /> Missoula Children's Theatre. Provides a weeklong residency "starring" 50-60 of our local <br /> students in a full-scale musical. MCT has been touring now for more than 30 years, developing <br /> life skills through participation in the performing arts. Their team of two professional tour <br /> actor/directors arrives in our town with scenery, costumes, props, make-up and basic lighting, <br /> everything it takes to put on a play— except, the cast. This weeklong residency begins with an <br /> open group audition and culminates in two public performances. Funds will be used to cover <br /> the cost of the artist fees and to provide publicity. <br /> Everett Irish Cabaret 700-800 15,500 2,000 1,900 <br /> (Co-Sponsored by Everett Theatre <br /> Society) <br /> Everett Irish Cabaret. A program of Irish music, songs, humor and story telling with a special <br /> appearance by eight champion dancers from two schools of Irish dance - the Mulcahy School <br /> from Mallow County Cork and the Costello School from Limerick and Galway, Ireland. Funds <br /> will be used to help pay for artist transportation.. <br /> Everett Women's Film Festival 400-500 10,800 1,500 1,250 <br /> Everett Women's Film Festival. The festival will begin Friday, March 3 and will run all day <br /> Saturday, March 4, 2006. This will be their ninth festival, and will be showing ten to eleven <br /> films over the two-day fest. The festival promotes the local community and promotes movies <br /> as an art form to communicate important ideas. Filmmakers from around the country are <br /> included. Funds will help pay for theatre rental. <br /> 15 <br />
