12 <br /> Exhibit A-1 — Scope of Work <br /> City of Everett <br /> East Marine View Drive <br /> PHASE III: Final PS&E Design Services <br /> Supplemental Work <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This agreement includes professional services as a supplement to the East Marine View Drive <br /> contract. This project involves the development of corridor improvements along East Marine <br /> View Drive, from the northbound I-5 off ramp to the SR 529-Broadway Ave on/off ramp within <br /> the City of Everett. <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> 1.0 Value Engineering/Constructability Review <br /> The Value Engineering/Constructability Review will be a two day workshop to be conducted by <br /> (VMC) Value Management Consulting, Inc. The workshop will include a facilitator and a Civil <br /> Engineer/Constructability expert provided by VMC, and a lead design engineer from Perteet. It <br /> is expected that the city will have one to two people participate. <br /> 2.0 Sewer Design Services <br /> At the request of City staff, Perteet sewer design services that included researching and <br /> presenting pipe-bursting methods that are viable for East Marine View Drive. Perteet staff then <br /> assisted the City's team in completing the sewer design for 60% submittal. In addition, at <br /> request of staff Perteet provided supplement work to provide drafting services for utility design. <br /> 3.0 Extra Services <br /> Provide information regarding pavement noise analysis. As required by staff, research noise <br /> studies to determine best available surfacing material for project. <br /> 4.0 Utility Conflict Potholing and Coordination <br /> Provide up to 4 additional coordination meeting with City of Everett Staff and Puget Sound <br /> Energy(PSE) for compiling a list of utility conflicts and required potholing. Compile <br /> information obtained from PSE and City's potholing effort and provide an analysis of existing <br /> utility locations and design of subsurface features.
