Additional funding is needed to complete 4e construction of a parking lot and associated drainage improvements. These item: were not included in the original construction contract due to lack of funding at the time the contract was awerded. Since 1991. the Rotary Park Phase I Construction Fund (Fund 353) has earned $73,340 in interest on donations and other sources deposited in the fund. IAC Grant funds are already budgeted and are available to watch the additional appropriation. The attached ordinance provides the necessary funding for the construction of a parking lot at Rotary Park. The Parks and Recreation 'Department anticipates completing construction of the parking lot this year if the attached ordinance is approved.
