13 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance 1684-90 <br />increasing the total estimated cost and appropriation for the special <br />construction fund entitled "Rotary Park Phase I Development" Fund 353, <br />Authorizing the design and construction of improvements at Rotary Park. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1684-90 was created to fund the design and construction at <br />Rotary Park; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1829-91 amended Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance 1684-90, <br />increasing the total estimated cost of Rotary Park Phase I Development to reflect. <br />additional funding received from the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation <br />(IAC); and <br />WHEREAS, public use of the Rotary Park facility is currently limited due to the lack of <br />parking; and <br />WHEREAS, additional funding is needed to complete the construction of a parking lot <br />and associated drainage improvements at Rotary Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rotary Park Phase I Construction Fund (Fund 353) has earned $73,340 <br />in interest on donations and other sources deposited in the fund since 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, interest earned by Fund 353 has not previously been appropriated; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1684-90 must be amended to appropriate additional funding <br />sources; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1684-90 which, as previously amended by Ordinance <br />No. 1829-91, reads as follows: <br />The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is S600.000 <br />which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract <br />administration, plan development and associated costs. <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />
