STORM DRAINAGE <br />1. The existing 18 inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) wil! be relocated and extend around the new <br />building. Catch basins will be located at each change in direction and will aiso be used as area <br />drains. Pipe will be to ASTM C76 Class III standards. <br />2. Roof drains will be collected at two locations from the new addition. 8 inch DIP will leave the <br />4uilding and tie into the outside system using 4 foot diameter manholes. <br />3. Miscellaneous existing 6 inch CIP drain pipes from the existing building will be reconnected to tie <br />the revised system. <br />4. Existing catch basins in the paved area wili have the tops adjusted to match finished grades. <br />SANITARY SEWER <br />It has been assumed the existing gravity sewer located within the new building expansion can be <br />relocated beneath the iloor of the building. <br />2. The new 8 inch DIP/CISP will be located as required to miss piie caps and then tied back into the <br />existing line. Cleanouts will be used in the building for changes in direction and 4 foot diameter <br />manholes used outside. <br />FENCING <br />New 9 gauge aluminized steel, 6 foot high chainiink fencing with 3 strands c� bard vrire will be <br />provided at the east end of the site from the existing fencing at the northeast comer of the <br />Converting building to ihe existing fencing at the waste treatment plant. <br />2. A new 30 foot wide double leaf swing gate will be provided at tne drive enlrance into the new a <br />trvck area. 7he gate will not be motorized and a security office has not been included. <br />PIPING <br />1. All piping wili confortn to piping specifications in effeci at ihe mill sfte and as applicable to ANSI B <br />31.1, 'Code for Power Piping', and ANSI B 31.3, "Code for Chemic:al Plant and Petroleum Refinery <br />Piping'. <br />2. All piping will confortn to the applicable requirements of WISHA, "Washington Industrial Safety and <br />HeaRh A�'. <br />3. Compressed Air - M air loop on both floors will be provided with headers running east - west along <br />each column and a one inch plugged tap every 10 feet. The air will have a tie-in with an isotalion <br />valve to the existfng system. The loop will be fed from a new 250 SCFM Compressor @ 100 PSIG <br />with a 240 gallon air receiver in a new mechanical room located on the second floor. The new <br />compressor will require cooling water supply and retum. Pneumatic equipment hook up is not <br />InGuded in this scope of work. <br />4. Steam and Condensate - The building wili be heated with sleam supplied from the existing building. <br />Condensate frorti traps and heaters will be reiumed io an exisiing condensate system. Tie-in poini <br />assumed to be within 20 ft of new building.
