e) Vegetation planted at aisle ends and lane intersections shalf be planted and <br />maintained to prevent the obstruction of driver visibility of pedestrians and other <br />vehicles. <br />g. Per Section 35.070 of the Coning Code, the Planning Director may, using Review <br />Process IIB, authorize a reduced width of planting or waive some or all of the <br />landscaping requirements in the following instances: <br />a) When existing conditions on er adjacent to the site, including, but not limited <br />to, differences in elevation, e�tisting vegetation, location of buildings or utilities <br />would render the : equirements of this Section ineffective. <br />b) When the applicant proposes an altertative methed of landscaping that would <br />achieve the intent and purpose of the landscaping required in this Ordinance and <br />which the Director determines to provide superior quality through the use oF native <br />vegetation existing on site, preservation of groves of trees, preservation of <br />wetlands and/or wildlife habitat, increasing perimeter landscape width in strategic <br />locations, providing unique focal points of interest, or through other means. <br />Comments from the Fire Department: <br />9. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br />10. Premise Identification - Premises must be clearly identified by the correct address <br />at the street entry. Buildings must be clr.azly identified so as to be visible and <br />legible from the access road. Individuai apartments, where applicable, must be <br />cleazly and legibh� identified from the access road. <br />11. Hvdrants - One available hydrant is required. It must be located within 200 driving <br />feet but no closer than 50 feet of t:�e structure. Location of hydrant must be <br />approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />12. Securitv Fence - Any security fence erected azound the construction site must be <br />located so as to not obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or <br />Fire Department access. If Fire Department access is obstrucied, gates or other <br />openings must be provided for access. <br />13. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of 2A must be provided <br />within 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all portions of each buildi�ig during <br />construction. <br />sepad394/faheemijv: <br />
