9. A portable fire e�ctinguisher with a minimum [JL rating of 2A:10-B:C must be provided <br />within 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all portions of each buiiding durin� <br />construction and prior to occupancy. <br />10, cire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br />I l. Any security fence erected around the construction site must be located so as to not <br />obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection eq�ipment, or Fire Department access. If <br />Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings must be provided for <br />access. <br />12. Demolition of buildings must be in compliance with the provisions of the Uniform Fire <br />Code, Section 87.105 'Fire Safety during Demolition'. <br />13. An approved au!�ma�:ic suppression system shall be provided as required by City <br />Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the EverPtt Municipal Code. Plans for any <br />such system shall b:; submitted to the Building Department and the Everett Fire <br />Department for ex:�mination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the <br />underground mains that will supply the sprink(er system. Aboveground sprinkler piping <br />shall be hydrostatica(ly tested as established in NFPA Standazd 13. Underground piping <br />shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 for private <br />fire mains. All such tests shall be witnessed by a Fire Department inspector. Contractors' materials and test certificates <br />shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Department prior to issuance of any Certificate of <br />Occupancy. Call 259-8720 for more informaGon. <br />14. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br />reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br />construction activities can be controlied by wetting those dust sources such as area> of <br />exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br />maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a major <br />dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br />Departmen; of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br />15. Off-street parking requirements have been reduced per Review Process II.B#� -95. <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />1. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed <br />development.
