Glacial ti.11 was encountered <br />any where from two feet to four feet below Y.he surface. <br />Infiltration of surface water as originally proposed is not <br />possible here. <br />Please refer to the Sit;e and Sto^m Drainage Plan for <br />Sunrise View Convalescent Center preoared by Kegel and <br />Associates, which I understand you have on file oending <br />WSDOT approval. The Cor.valescent Center property abuts <br />the east oroperty line of Mr. Borseth's property. The <br />Kegel design calls for a 12 inch storm drain to extend to <br />this common property line under the pr000sed gutter for T4adison <br />Avenue. . <br />S have discussed this with Jack Molver of Kegel & Assocs. <br />It is my understanding they have proposed that runo£f <br />from the conval.escent center be carried into the k�SDOT <br />system under Interstate 5. Rather than providing on site <br />detention they have opted to pay the City the in lieu fee <br />for the calculated storage. <br />I nroposed the following for Mr. Borseth's property. <br />1. Extend the 12 inch storm drain up Madison Ave. from <br />the end o£ the storm drain proposed by Kegel & Associates <br />�o the west prooerty line of the Borseth oroperty (approx. <br />80 linear feet). <br />2.
