C-- <br />C- <br />12. Underground parking lots should have security gates and the <br />walls should be painted white to help avoid car vandalism, <br />prowls and assaults. This area is prone to car prowls. All <br />stair wells should have security gates to the outside. <br />13. Carports, unless visible from apartmenc: windows, give a false <br />sense of security and are more prone to vandalism and theft. <br />14. During the final stages of construction, please contact Dick <br />Thornberry, Crime Prevention Officer, at 259-0416 for further <br />security recommendations. <br />15. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to <br />serve the proposed development. For further information a�out <br />the electrical service requirements for this project, please <br />call Larry Thornton of the District�s Customer Engineering <br />Office, Everett at 258-8282• <br />16. The cost of any relocation of GTE facilities that is required <br />to construct the new apartments will be at the total expense <br />of the developer. Any relocation will take 60 to 12U days. <br />17. GTE Northwest Incorporated will provide service to the site. <br />However, new telephone cable construction will be required in <br />conjunction with the site development. GTE's engineering will <br />begin when they are notified of your construction schedules <br />and telephone requirements. <br />It will be the developer's responsibility to provide a <br />suitable combinatioti of conduit and trenching and/or riser <br />conduit to accommodate GTE's network communications cable <br />within the complex. Provided that an acceptable combination <br />of conduit and/or trenching are incorporated into the project <br />to accommodate GTE's entrance cable, there will be no costs to <br />the developer for GTE's cable. <br />If a rearrangement of existing cables on premises or on the <br />right-of-way is necessary, appropriate charges will be <br />estimated and GTE's Guaranty of Payment form will be forwarded <br />to you for your signature. Prior to commencement of GTE's <br />engineering for such rearranaement, a deposit will be <br />required. To insure timely telephone service, GTE requests <br />ninety (90) days lead time for engineering, procurement, and <br />installation of cable and/or GTE's equipment. <br />Please contact Michael Hupf, Senior Engineer, at 356-4052 <br />should you rec�uire any additional information. <br />
