Copies of the pages with ur�met requirements have <br />been attached to this memo. <br />CALCULATIONS <br />� A number of comments are written directly in the submitted <br />drainage report. <br />Orifice sizin : <br />The City feels that an orifice size less than 1 inch is too <br />/ susceptible to clogging to be practical. To meet the <br />V Depairtment of Fisheries release standard, the detention <br />sysl:em should be reconfigured to reduce the head on the <br />orifice. <br />Zf reducing the head on the orifice is not a solution, the <br />applicant can resolve the conflict Uy doing one of the <br />following: <br />1) convincing Fisheries to accept a one-inch :ninimum <br />orifice size (and the subsequent larger release <br />rate ...), or <br />2) designing the detention system with a multiple <br />orifice system such that; <br />a) the City's allowable relea::e rate for the <br />City's design storm is not exceeded when <br />all orifice are functioning, and D������ <br />� D� <br />�uN 21 ��,�:., L.� <br />..... . <br />cc, ;• ..... <br />^� eve7�rr <br />GIG';.
