Y�ar 1: Year 1 consists of the growing season following the initial planting. <br /> (' Two site visits <br /> The first site visit will be conducted at green-up, approximately early spring, to <br /> determine the initial survival of the shrub� and trees in the buffer planting area. It will <br /> include a plant-by-plant inspection throughout the total planting area with a notation of <br /> any species, which appear to be stressed, dead or delayed in initial growth. Photos will <br /> be taken of the site per the established photo schedule, which will be crea?ed at the <br /> initiation of the Time-Zero Report. � <br /> The second site visit wiil be completed at the end of the growing season. Tfois visit will <br /> determine the success or failure of the plants at the end of the first year. At this time, all <br /> dead plants will be flagged and recorded. This information will be sup�lied to the <br /> planting contractor for re-vegetation during the dormant winter period. Phot�s from the <br /> established photo points wiil be taken per the established photo schedule. <br /> Year 2: Two site visits <br /> The first site visit will be during the early spring, i.e., during green-up, to avaluate over <br /> winter success and to inspect plants that were re-planted during the d:-:mant winter <br /> season as part of the re-vegetation construction contract. Plants througiiout the total <br /> buffer planting area will be inspected. Any species that appear to be stressed, dead or <br /> delayed in growth will be noted. Photos wiif be taken of the site per the established <br /> t photo schedule. <br /> A second site visit will be completed at the end of the growing season. This visit will <br /> determine the success or failure of the plants at the end of the second year. All planted <br /> species will be inspected and any species that appear stressed, dead or delayed in <br /> growth will be noted. In addition, percent coverage will be estimated per the <br /> performance standards. Photos from the established photo points will be taken per the <br /> established photo schedule. <br /> Year 3: Three site visits. <br /> The first site visit will be during the early spring, i.e., during green-up, to evaluate over <br /> winter success. All planted species will be inspected. Any species that appear to be <br /> stressed, dead or delayed in growth will be noted. Photos will be taken of the site per <br /> the esta�lished photo schedule. <br /> The second visit wfll be in late fall. At this time, it will be determined by the monitor <br /> whether the site is mee:ing the performance standards and goais as iden4ified in the <br /> Restoration Plan. This includes plant survival and coverage standards. Photos from <br /> the established photo points will be taken per the established photo schedule. <br /> The third visit will a�so occur in late fall, and will be the final site visit. At this time, the <br /> ( Project monitor will meet with City personnel on site to verify the Project monitor's final <br /> � determination. If City personnel and the Project monitor agree that the site has met the <br /> 4 �\ <br /> �1�� <br />
