October 3, 1977 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett Board of Fdjustr.�ent was held at 7:00 p,m <br />in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Everett, Washington. . <br />Mr. Baird presided; D�. Russell, Mr, Kristiansen, and Mr. Black were present; <br />� Mr. Berg was absent. <br />Under old business, Mr. James Dupler of 320 Olympic Blvd, iverett, WA 98203, <br />withdrew his application. . <br />The following items are under new business: <br />1. L, A. Akers and Howard Moore who are anplying for 3312 k:romer. Thes <br />are requestinq permission to construct a single family residence to within <br />ten (10) feet of the front property line rather than the.required twenty (20) <br />feet. Also to allow for a deck to extend six (6) feet into the rear yard <br />setback. <br />T.EGAL DESCRI?TIOC1: Lot 10 except the west 85 feet thereof and Lot 11 <br />except the west 85 feet thereof, Aloc}: 783, Stanford <br />- Land Company's Add, to Ever.ett <br />ADDRESS: 7ppror.inately 3312 Kromer <br />ZONING: R-1 Single Family Low Density Pesidence _ <br />Mr. Dan Bovey, 9619 Baker Drive, represented Pir. Moore and bir.� A}:ers. <br />Mr, Bovey made the following statements: <br />1. -That the proposed new single family.residence will be ?24 feet <br />from ground level. <br />2. There have been other variances 5ranted in the inmediate arca <br />for similar requests. <br />3. Also that they are pronosing a r.esidence that will ninimise the <br />loss of view to the neighLors. � <br />There was some opposition from the neighbors. The n:ain objection was the <br />obstruction of view that they have been enjoying for the past many year�. <br />After visually vieH•in9 the subject property and consi3ering all the facts <br />and testimony, it was r„oved by htr, Russell, second�d by htr. Ysistianser„ <br />and unaninously carried, that the variance be grantrd for the following <br />rca�ons: �� � <br />, l.
