A safe exitway requires a separated corridor/hallway from <br />the document/nagazine stacks room. Thia exitway MUST BE IMPROVED and <br />meet the approral of the Building Department and Fire Officials. <br />13) Recommend that t!.is facility be pre -fire panned by the fire suppression <br />department of the Everett Fire Department because it is a :ublic <br />building with a large occupant load, large fire load, contains numerous <br />rooms and void spacer, is unsprinklered and does not have an automatic <br />detection system nor burglar/vandal. alarm system. <br />Improvements must be made to prevent fire, to meet Fire and Life Safety <br />Codes and to give fire suppression companies a valid chance on stopping <br />and extinguishing a fire in this structure. <br />One addititonal note to this inspection letter would be that thq exiting <br />from the main floor library front was examined. It was determined that <br />although the exiting is funneled to one area by stantions and ropes, as <br />long as these ropes were readily unsnappable they would be allowed by <br />this office. <br />A reinspection of this business will be conducted on or after July 29, 1985. <br />?lease see that the above requirements are met at that time.
