� <br />� <br />l <br />Code C� <br />HOUSING INSPECTOR REPORT <br />FROM: Marian Dent, Housing Inspector, Code Compliance Of cer / I� <br />' l� <br />DATE: Apri! 17, 1998 ,` <br />SUBJ: 2922 Hoyt Avr., Everett, WA. <br />An inspection of d:e building siwated at 2922 Hoyt Ave., was conducted roday. As a <br />result of the inspection, each unit and the building as a whole, was posted "Illegal to <br />Occupy". It was noted during the inspection that four of the units, 1, 2, 3, and 5, were <br />occupied. These units were postcd witl� notices which called for the vacation of the <br />unit and the building no later than 4:00 PM, Apri120, t998. <br />In auendance during the inspection was Jim Hanson, Code Compliance Officer, and <br />two Gverett Police Officers, Officer Duvall and Officer Bernardi. <br />The following deficiencies were noted and are considered su(ficient to declare the <br />building ta be substandard pursuant lo the Sec. 202 of the Uniform Housing Code: <br />3RD Floor <br />1. Windows are broken, glazing missing, creating a lack of protection from <br />exterior elements. <br />2. All bathtub faucets fall below the water level of the tubs and may allow <br />gray water to siplion back into the potable water supply. <br />3. One of the bathtubs is half full of blaci: s�ag�iate w4 er. <br />4. Walls and ce�lings have holes in them, one hole next to the 3rd floor <br />entrance door is large enough for a person or persons to pass through. <br />5. The required 3rd story exterior exit descends down a staircase which <br />ends at a point of approx_mately 12 feet off the ground. What remains of <br />
