L�uring an inspection of the buildings on the property, the following conditions were noted and they exist to the extent that the life, health, property and safet}� of the public and its occupants are endanger. Therefore, the following conditions render the building to be dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, Sec. 302, noting the following: 1. The interior staircases, in the principal building on the property, are covered with carpet which has frayed. Sec. 302 2. Whenever the waiking surface of any aisle, passageway, stairway or other means of exit is so warped, worn, loose, torn or otherwise unsafe as to not provide safe and adequate means of exit in case of fire or panic. 2. The buildings exist in violation of specif� requircments applicable to such buildings provided by die buildir,g regulations of this jurisdiction, as specified in the Building Code and Housing Code as adopted by Ordinance of this jurisdiction relati:�g to the condition of buildings. 3. The buildings are an attractive nuisance to inquisitive chiidren and a harbor for vagrants, criminals, and immoral persons. 4. The buildings are in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. Since the buildings are not habitable in their current condition, they are to be vacated no later than 4:00 PM, Mond^y, April 20, 1998, remain vacated, and kept secured from unauthorized entry until such a time as they have been repaired in accordance with all current Building Code requirements and all other applicable codes within the City of Everett. ma:rcrun
