Bidders must appear oa the Community Housing Inorovement Program (CHIP) <br />Contractors List in order to be eligible to 6id. <br />2• Bids must be made on City of Everett CHZP forms, all applicable blank <br />spaces in the form must be filled out, the appropriate signatures must <br />be provided in longhand and the completed forms oust be wtthout notes, <br />scribbles, alteration and erasure. There should only be one figure per <br />provided line per each individual item. �11 spaces are [o be filled in <br />with permanent ink. <br />3. <br />4. <br />Vo oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or oodifications will be <br />consid.ered. <br />Bids shall be addressed to the owner in care of CHIP, enclosed in a <br />sealed envelope and labeled as follows: <br />A. Coomunity Ilousing Improvemen[ Program; aailing address, 3002 <br />Wetaore Avenue, Everett; <br />B. Name and project address of the Ocmer; <br />C. Name and addtess of Contractor; <br />D. Date and time of bid opening; and <br />E. Attention: Housing Improvement Advisor/Inspector. If hand <br />delivered, deliver to the CHIP Office at 2731 Wetmore Avenue, <br />Everet�. If mailed, mail to 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA <br />98201. If mailed, it is suggested to mail the bid one week prior <br />to bid opening. <br />5. Befare submitting a bid, Contractors shall carefully examina all bid <br />documeats, fully inform themselvea as to all couditions and limitat!ons <br />and include in :he bid a sum which covern the cost of all items <br />included in the contract. <br />6. Contractors shall carefuliy examine ttie property before bidding. <br />7. The Owner and CNIP will invite proposals only from Co¢tractors to whon <br />they would be willing to award a contract. By owner selectio¢, bids <br />may be let to any Contractor whose bid falls within lOX of the low bid <br />or either of the txo lowest bids. Co¢tractors added at [he request of <br />the Owner must fill out and complete the Contractors Form and be <br />approved by the Loan Rev1eW Commit[ee �LRC) prior to becoming an <br />eligible bidder. <br />0 <br />9 <br />10 . <br />The Owner reserv=s the right to reject any aiid all bids. <br />Any Addendum issued prio: to the bid opening s`+all be included in the <br />bid. <br />The Owner shall have [en (10) work:ng days from the time of opening of <br />bids to accept the bid submitted. <br />11. If requested to do so by the Owner or CHIP, the Cuntractor shall <br />provide additionol information about his/her qualificatioc;s, iinancial <br />status or that of proposed Subcontractors. <br />13.
