Detailed draw:.ngs in accordance with City Design and <br />Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Pub:Lic Works <br />Department shc�+ing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, <br />storm drainage, temporary construction erosion conti•ol, and <br />all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public <br />Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior <br />to any permits being issued. All improvements sliall be <br />completed, approved, and warranted before the occupancy Permit <br />is issued. <br />2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br />at all times during construction. Dust suppression ancl street <br />cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br />3. Performance guarantees are required f�r the street improvements. <br />4. A one-year guarantee is required on the puUli� improvemerits for <br />a.n amount not less than 10$ of the cost of construction and <br />shall run for one vear from the date of issuance of the first <br />Occupancy Permit for the project. <br />5. The building must meet all 1985 UBC and UFC Standar.ds. A 2AlOBC <br />fire extingui�her must be provided within 75 feet trave� of all <br />apartment units at each level. The Everett Fire Department will <br />do final inspection upon completion. <br />6. The Police Department has the following security <br />recommendatians: <br />a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree ta <br />220 degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts <br />with 1" throw and at least 3" screws securing striker <br />plate. <br />b. Bay windows should overlook the parking lot foz increased <br />security of vehicles. <br />c. Sliding glass doors should have Charlie bars installed for <br />optimum security. <br />d. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1-2 foot <br />candles. <br />e. Address and apartment numbers should be 5" letters and <br />visible from the street and parkinq l.ots. Addresses must be <br />posted on both buildings. <br />
