These comments address building <br />issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington <br />andlor Washington State Energy Code 2001 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In erder for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with trvo complete new sels of d: awings retlecling the corrections requested. , <br />1. Revised plans do not show sufficient space for stairs to be constructed per the stair detail on Sheet B. <br />Revise plans to comply with requirements shown. <br />2. 2 x 8 floor joists nt 16" o.c. will not span 13'6". Provide ;ooting under all bearing walls, show on <br />foundation plan. <br />3. Minimum room dimensions are measured at the tloor (R-21 insulation requires minimum 5�/z" framing <br />caviry). Below grade walls are required ro be insula�ed. <br />4. Item #G from the pervious letter asks for a ist tloar framing plan (not lst floor plan). It is my <br />understanding that the ] st floor, floor joists have be�n modii!ed. Please darify if the 800r system has <br />been modified. <br />5. Provide dimensions on all new partitions. If laundry closet is framed such that hallway is less than 3'- <br />0" r_lear, framing would be required ro be changed.
