CITY Of EVERETT <br />DOARD OF ADJUSTP1ENT <br />Minutes - June 1, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the City of Everett Board of Adjustment was held at <br />7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. 11r. Russell presided; f9r. Zook, <br />Mr. Eckstrom, Mr. Hoa9land and t4r. Wilson �,�ere present. <br />t4r. Russell introduced the members of the Qoard to the audience. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Bert Albert, 6707 Berkshire Drive, <br />Everett 4!A 98203, for a variance from the Short Plat Ordinance No. 517-78, <br />Section 200, Paragraph 4(a) Easement Access, for permission to provide a <br />legal twenty (20) foot permanent easement road to Lot 7. through Lot 1 on a <br />proposed short plat. <br />Legal Description: Lots 1 and 2, Block G, 6everly Hills Div. 2 of a <br />Short Plat. Because of its length, the entire <br />legal descr•iption is cn file in the 6uilding <br />Department. <br />Address: 6704 Berkshire Drive <br />Zoning: R-2 Single Family High Density Residence <br />A memo from tl�e Engineering Department recommending the approval of the <br />variance was read by the Chairman. <br />Mr. Albert represe�ted himself and mentioned there uiere similar land divisions <br />to the North and South of his property. There is a separate sewer system to <br />each of the t�o buildings and the land was divided in 1978 b�t was not <br />recorded as a legal division at that time. <br />There was no :omment from the audience. <br />Flfter visuall�i viewing the subject property and cor,sidering all the facts, <br />it was moved f�y Mr. Wilson, seconded by Mr. Hoa�land and unanimously carried <br />to gra,�t the variance as it meets all the requirements of Section 19.70.060 <br />of the Everett. Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as the <br />Short Plat Orc'inance 517-78, Section 200, Easement Access. <br />A hearing was.held on the application of Steven Doleshel, 1901 Rucker <br />Avenue, Everett: lJA 98201, for a v�riance from Section 19.tII.040 of the <br />Everett hlunicipal Code, Yard Requirem�nts, Paragraph C, Rear Yard, for per- <br />mission to add on to the existing residence and be able to build to the <br />rear yarc� property line and allow ze;o (0) yard setback rather than the <br />Code requirement of twenty (20) feet. <br />Legal Description: W¢ of Lots 1 and 2, 81ock 377, Plat of Everett Div.
