I arrived on the scene at 9:10 a.m. and met P.ohert Royce, Pire btarshal Cooper and one other Fire Inspector. I overheard A1r. Fiurd tell Robert Royce he did not caar.t us cn the prop. �ty. I then left the scene and droce across South Broadway and consulted with a plain clothes policeman, who was standing by. I informed the officer that one and possibly more persons were carrying fire arms. I asked the oificer what he suggested at this point. He suggested that we not proceed on the property without a writ. I then returned to 122 Intercity Avenue and asked RoUert Royce what he proposed to do at that time. F3e said that Mr. Hurd did not want us on the proper.ty and to . return to City Fiall and consult •aith you.
