original lot development plans and thus this increased grade would not have been taken
into account in the plannin5 stages for this development with requardd drainage.
This raised grade on the new development slopes toward our property.
This is causing an increa•ed amount of rain water to run off the new development and
onfo our property.
We talked with Mike at Blue Ridge Construction (the contractor building the house on the
new development) and he said he was going to put a rock ,etaininci wall on the property
line common to our property. If he does this it will stop earth from flowing on to our
property. However the rock retaining wall will not stop water drainage on to our property.
We request that the city t%.ke step tu ensure that the lot development does not cause
increased drainage in to our back and side yards.
We would suggest a solid concrete retaining wall be built between our two properties that
would stop water from flowing onto our property. This retaining wall would haie a
drainage system that would catch the water flowing toward our property and then take it
to the existing storm drain system that has been installed in this development.
Please advise of your intended actiori by iNonday January 16.
nclosed are pictures of the four lot development on the West of our property (12 East
Intercity Avenue, Everett) that show the raised grade.
William & Christine Purdy
12 East Intercity Avenue
Everett, WA 98208
425-355-982G cel
425-347-9389
u ' -
io o ja
,J I, 0 , 0
J , i ! i-x - --i ❑ --
x
I
, ' I
vsiou
