o The aver-age daily flow rate from the maintenance building
is assmied to be 20 gppd for each of the 34 maintenance
 ployees or .56 gpm.
o Peak d:iily flows are 2.5 times average daily flows or 1.4
RFm•
The total sewer hook-up fee for Phase I construction would therefore be
$8,812 as shown belrn,:
Adminisrative Building 4,320 s.f. X .624/s.f. _ $2,696
Operations Building 5,780 s.f. X .624/s.f. = 3,ti07
Maintenance Building $1,506 (1.4 gpm) + f716 (.56 gpm) = 2LSQg
Jts,tsl
4) The detentirm pond outlet should be sized for a 10 year pre-
develoFment stoxm. Dan figures thi:s rate should be 1.24 cfs instead of
1.39 cfs as we computed it. We wi1:L check tius rate. Multiple orifices
(3) should be used to release this •rate. (See City ef Everett detail
413). The primary orifice should release 50 percent of the flow with ttie
upper two orifices releasing 25 percent each. The orifices should be
spaced at 1/3 intervals:
5) The detentian pond and on-site storm drain lines should be sized for a
25 year storm.
6) Roof drainage from the maintenance building mwt be routed through the
detention pond. Roof drain detention is also not allowed by the City of
 :;verett.
7) Drai;iage from Sho Isle will be routed through our site a.rd by-pass our
detention pond. The pipe line should be sized to handle a 25 year storm
from a fully developed site in the futise. Dan says the Kasch Park system
is sized to handte bth sites fully developed.
8) Detention pond inlet shall be at the sam.e elevation as 2he outlet
pipe.
9) Tom Thetford is the City of Everett plan reviewer (259-8822) for water
and sewer. Fois copies of the plans should be submitted to him for the
building permit.
, 10) Kasch Par has submitted 99 percent review drawings to the City for
their review. Kasch Park's phase I construction is scheduled for bid open
on August lOth with construction slzted to begin immediately thereafter.
Coordination between Kasch Park's project and ours is lacking. It was
identified that the proposed berm between our two sites is in conflict
with the location of the teorary access road on Kasch Park's property.
This issue, as once thought to be resolved, should have input fr Jerry
Ervine (City Plamiing Dept. Rep), Don Petitclerc (City Safety Div.,
259-8847) and Bill Strong (City Safety Div., gune imtil S-8). KQd will
check Kasch park's drawings for utility conflicts and relay any problems
to Ruben Gonzales by 7-27-83.
-2-
