Zhe rocke�y�s situuted in the backyard along the eastern side of the property, <br /> covering a��.•Feot high hank(Cut?).From the top of the wall,a landscaped slope <br /> extrnds fiirtner eesi and terminatcs ut an upper wouden Cence. The lands�aped <br /> slope is approximntcly 20-ZS teet long nnd inclined nt ebout 4F#:1 V f�om the[op <br /> of the rockery to thc basc of thc upper fcncc. We undcrstand that o scrvicc rond <br /> exists behind thn fence to the east. <br /> 3. Thc mckery wall rangcs from 9 to 9.5 feet high,covcrs about 62 feet o2 bank in <br /> thc Rynn yard, and continues lwth nortl�sud south into tl�e ncishboring yards. <br /> 4, In genernl, the wall i�cnmposed of hard. dnrk 6Ray,andesite hlockx. Some hlocks <br /> c�chibit clo�cly spaccd joinring whilc oth�rs appcar massive. Rclativc rock <br /> hardncss was cstimated udlizing a Schmidt rcbound hammer,Visibly fresh, <br /> massive,racks typically yielded rebound valucs:anging from 60 to70 ur high�r. <br /> Mcasuremenu takcn on rocks that appeu�ed strongly wcathcred typicatly ranged <br /> from 25 to 40.At verious locetions,the wall exhibits vcRicel stnins iudicative of <br /> chronic watcr tlow down its face. At some locations along the wall base, it <br /> appears that ccrtain rocks werc tacked to each other with small arnounts of <br /> canactc. <br /> 5. A[the tiu�e of our reconnaissance,at least five ]arge rocks u•ere observed <br /> exhibiting discolora6on a�d physical disintegration to varying degrces. <br /> Gxaminatioa of those rocks revealed that, in general,ihcy�Il consisted of sheared <br /> nnd veined rock. Presently,these rocl;s exhibit marked discoloretion from light <br /> gray to ycllow-broHr oRen,resulting in a light-dark handed appearance. <br /> Sibmificant amounL of soft/loo5e material could he scrt�ed off thc expp5cd <br /> suA'u:es uCtlie rocks displa}'ing marked yellow-brpwn diseoloration.
