Prior to obtaini�ig clearing and grading permits, the f�pplicant must <br /> provide info�mation regarding the source of fill material and the physical, <br /> chem�:al and biological character of the fill material. A plan detailing proposed signaye must be reviewedl and approved by <br /> the Planning Department prior to issuance of any sign permits. The <br /> plans will be reviewed for conformance with the SC��MMP and the City <br /> of Everett Zo�ing Code. Permits will also be necessary from the City of <br /> Everett Buildiny Department. <br /> Signs must be in conformance with the following stai�dards: <br /> a. One freestanding sign is permitted per lot for each street frontage. i <br /> (Zoning Code) <br /> b. The maximum allowable height for freestanding signs shall be five <br /> feet from ground level tu top of sign. (SCSMMP) The maximum <br /> sign area shall be 60 sf, except that where more than one free <br /> standing sign is parmitted, the sign area permitted for each sign <br /> may be combined if installed on one sign structure. (Zoning <br /> Code) <br /> c. Signs must be construct2d against existing buildings to mir.imize <br /> visual obstruction of the shoreline and water bodies, wherever <br /> feasible. Applications for freestanding signs shall demonstrate <br /> that it is infeasible or impracticable to �nount the requested sign <br /> flush on the building or that there is no visual obs:ruction of the <br /> shoreline. (SCSIv1MP) <br /> d. Each facade is pErmitted a �vall sign. The maximum sign area <br /> shall be the large;•of 40 sf or 15% of the �rea of the facade upon <br /> which the sign ar signs are to be located, up to a maximum of 100 <br /> sf. !Zoning Code) The height of any wall signs shall not be more <br /> then 15 feet.
