'fhe <br />sampler is driven a total distance of eightee�i (18) inches, or whatever portion of this <br />depth that can be achieved before refusal, in six inch increments (refusal is considered <br />to be fifty (50) blows per foot, or portion thereo�. The number of blows required to drive <br />each six inch increment is recorded. The total number of blows required to drive the <br />bottom twelve (12) inches, or portion thereof, is considered to be the SPT "N-Value". <br />This value is used in characterizatiun of the site soils in ow� enginesring analyses. <br />Representative soil samples were placed in closed containers and retumed to our <br />Redmond office for further examination, review and selective laboratory testing. <br />� <br />
