Mr. Adams said the failure of your title <br />company to insert the ahove document recording in the [itle repor[ caused the Fol- <br />lowing additional work: <br />A. Mr. Adams said [he electrical inspector required him to remove all knob and <br />tube wiring from wi[hin the walls before he rewired. This resu;ted in remov- <br />ing all of the exi�ting sheetrock to expose the knob and [ube wiring. <br />B. Mr. Adame �cated Che structural inspec[or inl'ormed him Che exis[ing 21-foo[ <br />span in the Living room didn'[ meet code and he would have to ahore'the ceil- <br />ing with additi�nal 2" x$�—joists. Mr. Adams also stated they requea[ed additior.al supports in the foundation. <br />I subsequently made pecso�aal appointments witli Marion Dent, Houaing Inspector, <br />Wally Christopherson, Str;�ctu�s: Inspector, and Norm Vanderpool, Electrical In- <br />spector, on October 4th and Sth to discuss this property with whic;, they said [hey <br />were very familiar. The conversations I had with Mr. Adams were repeated to these <br />inspectors and [hey stated tt�e following: <br />A. Mr. Vandei000l said he did not tell Mr. Adams he had to remove [he drywall or <br />[he knob an� tube wiring, becau�e knob and tube wiring does meet code in exist- <br />ing dvelling,�, unless the building is moved onto Che lot, which isn°t [he case <br />with thia prooerty. <br />B. Mr. W.
