I really thought that you undersi-od that the storage Adownstairs was for your use instead of <br />the use of the back yard. <br />Since receipt of your letter on August 3 1999. 1 havebeen in contad with my lawyer, the Building <br />Department o< Everett, and thaCode Enforcement Agency. According to thwn there is riot a protdem <br />with any code vitiation, and the ham you are living 1n'does not need to be brought up to the 11BC <br />codes that you r0enned to in your letter. I have also contacted several contractors and they feel that <br />Work, if any, on the unit would be more efficiently completed if the unit were vacant I have two more <br />ageancies to get in touch with, which I am scheduled to do the week of August 16, and I will let you know <br />the results of their findings. <br />Boyd and Leda, I appreciate that you brought up your concerns and I will resolve them as the law <br />allows. If you truly do feel that Your home Is unsafe for you and your tan* to live in after a year and a <br />half; than I strongly urge you to give the required 20-day notice and mode your family to a home that <br />you feel more comfortade with.
