The <br />following information is needed prior to further plan review. <br />1. A copy of [he proposed menu (items to be baked) mus[ be suhmitted. <br />2. Submit a list of equipment noting manufacturer and modei nur,�be:s for all food service <br />equipment. <br />3. The plan review application you submitted indicated that your pcoposed bakery is served by <br />an on-site sewage disposal system. The Snohcmish Heal[h District has no record of an on- <br />site sewage disposal system for this location. All on-site sewage disposal s;stems must meet <br />the approval of Snohomish Health District Water and Wastewater Section. It is <br />recommended that you double check the accuracy of the information submitted to assure the <br />proposed bakery is served by an on-site sewage disposal system and not by municipal sewer. <br />4. :Vo restroom is shown on the floor plan. A restroom is required. The restroom must be part of <br />the food service establishment (the bakery) and not inside the priva[e residence. <br />5. A utensil sink, item #I1, is shown on the floor plan. Only one basin is indicated for this sink. <br />Utensil sinks (thrr,e compartment sinks) must be National Sanitation foundation (NSF) listed <br />for ware washing and must have integral drainboards at both ends. <br />6. No handwash sink is shown in Ghe bakery. A handwash sink is required in the bakery. <br />No mop sink is shown on ihe floor plan. A mop sink is required. <br />8. A laundry machine, item #10, is shown on the floor plan. Is this the clothes washing machine <br />for the residence? Note, joint use of a food service facil�ry for food production and residential <br />purposes is not allowed. <br />9. Wood boards are indicated on the walls and ceilings. This does not meet the requirements for <br />a food service establishment. The ceiling above the food preparation areas must be <br />nonabsorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable. Walls in the food prepazation areas must be <br />nonabsorbent, smoo[h, and easily cleanable. 2:xtra wall protection is required on walls behind <br />sinks and food preparation tables. A 16-inch high backsplash of plastic laminate, fiberglass- <br />reinforced p;astic or equal is acceptable. Wall protection behind mop sinks must cover the <br />entire splash zone. Plastic coated hardboard is not acceptable. The type of material to be used <br />must be indicated. <br />10. Submit a revised floor plan, drawn to scale, showing location of all equipment, plumbing <br />fixtures and the like that includes the required sinks and additional information. The scale of <br />the drawing should be 1/4 inch equals 1 foot. <br />� <br />
