nno <br />City c Everett - Board of Adjustowt <br />f <br />Minutes <br />October 1, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett Board of Adjustment was held <br />at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. <br />Mr. Russell presided, Mr. Zook and Mr. Hoagland were present. <br />Mr. Black and Mr. Wilson were absent. <br />Mr. Russell introduced the Board members to the audience. <br />After a thirty -day postponement, a hearing was held on the <br />application of John Jamieson, 2219 Fulton, Everett, Washington <br />98201, for a variance from Section 19.16.030 of the Everett Municipal <br />Code, Minimum lot size, for permission to construct a duplex and <br />provide 6,200 square feet of lot area rather than the code requirement <br />of 7,500 square feet of lot area. <br />Legal Description: All of Lot 26 and the N 10 feet and the East <br />50 feet of Lot 25'and the East 50 feet of Lot 24 <br />of Block 2 Smyth's Land Co's 1st Add. <br />Address: 2219 Fulton <br />Zoning: R-2 Single Family High Density Residence <br />Mr. Jamieson represented himself and mentioned the fact that the <br />duplex to the North of his property was now finished. So the <br />properties to the North and South of his lot are duplexes. <br />There was no opposition from the audience. <br />After visually viewing the subject property and considering all <br />the facts it was moved by Mr. Zook, seconded by Mr. Hoagland and <br />unanimously carried to deny the applicant's request because of <br />the lack of square footage and it does not meet all the requirements <br />of Section 19,70.060 of the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, <br />2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Drena Demmert, 14820-15th <br />Ave. N.E., Seattle, Washington 98155, for a variance from the Short <br />Plat Ordinance 517-78 Section 200, Easement Access, for permission <br />to utilize a twenty (20) foot proposed non -revocable easement for <br />ingress and egress, to serve proposed Lot 3 of a proposed 4 lot <br />short plat located on the Northwest corner of. 4th and Main Street <br />in Lowell, aijacent to Interstate S. <br />Legal Description: Those portions of the Southeast quarter of <br />the Southwest quarter of Section 32, Township <br />29 North, Range 5 East, W.M. <br />The remainder of the legal description is on file with the <br />Building Department. <br />
