I found <br />the following conditions to be in vUlation of the mire Prevention Code <br />and they present some very serious fire and life hazards. <br />1. The front stairway is not enclosed and the rear stairway is not <br />properly protected from the rest of the building. <br />2. There is loose paper hanging from the walls and ceilings in <br />several of the rooms. <br />3. the gas is still on in the hotel part of the building, which is <br />unoccupied at the present time. <br />4. The cooking Eanilities are substandard in all rooms and because <br />of this presents a very serious fire hazard. <br />5. The plaster is oof the walls and ceilings in several rooms. <br />6. There is an accumulation of flammable debris in several of the <br />rooms. <br />7. There, -ift open transoms from each of the rooms to the hallways. <br />8. There Abs, unprotected wood walls in each occupancy on the first <br />floor. <br />9. The oil stove in thetavern is installed in a hazardous manner. <br />10. The back roams on the ground floor hau-an accumulation of <br />flammable debris in them. <br />11.
