While <br /> the Planning Department does not deal directly with this particular City Code provision,I have <br /> coordinated with the City's Code Enforcement,Pubtic Works and Legal departments in developing this <br /> response. <br /> Under the current regulations,the City may not grent a business more than fourteen days for display of <br /> merchandise in the public right-of-way. This is a 14 consecutive day period,and limited to one 14 day <br /> period per calendar year. The regulations do not provide for a waiver. <br /> The current code can only be changed through a formal code amendment process involving the City ' <br /> Council.
