As for your other concerns 1
want to assure you we havc no intentions of opening any part of the shop without proper}xrmit requirements.
7'his is why 1 came to your office a few wecks ago and shared with the ceryone our intent, at that time i was
asked to pull new permit for a singe outlet box and a plumbing perniit for etending one water line to fecd a
coffee machine. The electrical and plumbing were done beyond requiremcnt and have already been inspected
and given tinals without any problems. 1 rcalize thete are other issues to bc resolved, and everything you
have rcquested of mc has and will be donc, including: architect, hcalth department, public works, etc. At a time
whcn jobs urc being crcated and ncighborhood's
are being improved i failed to understand why a permit to hookup a cot7cc maker won't be issued. We will
crnitinuc to follow protocol with other inspecion needs beforc opening the builJing for public use.We would
appreciatc a reconsidcration.
"I'hank you
Gcary Watkins
---On Tuc, 12/S/09, Meg Ilalcy <h//Ldr(d`ci.evcrclLirn.u.s>wrotc:
Prom: Meg lialcy <MI lalcv4ici.ccrclt.a.us>
Subject: 3719 I lcwitt Avcnuc-vork without permits
'I'o: hcsUlcl(uvahco.com
Datc: 'I'ucsday. Dcccmbcr R. 2009. 4:31 PM
Gary,
I just left a voicemail for ycu. There is no option for a temporary certificate of occupancy for an espresso
stand. The only work that is permitted at this time is the public works permit, PW0707-006, and based on
comments from the inspector, Randy Allen, as of today, the scope of this permit has not been completed as
written. Please call Randy directly to discuss, at 425-339-7403.
Gary, as you and I discussed last week at the site, at 4 pm on Thursday, December 3rd, any work done on the
huilding is done at the owner's risk, since the permits for that work have not been reviewed and issued.
There is also thc possibility of a stop work order. I advise you to allow the permit review process to be
resolved so that a building perrnit can be issued, and to then call for the inspections to be completed for the
building before trying to open any aspect cf tlie business on the site.
In the meantime, the work on the public works permit can proceed with inspections by kandy Allen.
Attached is the issued public works permit.
t (
