This condttion prexnts a safety <br />pro6lem tor pedestrtans. Clry MvnIcipal Caie, Chapter 13.08, places the burden <br />oi sidewalk maintenance, tnclu�inR removal oi obstructlons, upon the property <br />owner directly ahutting upon same. As a result, the abutUng property owner is <br />liable for tnJury/claim which may stem from an u�safe sidewalk condltton. <br />Chapter 13.08 further establ[shes that any person violattng this chapter shall, <br />upon conviction, lx punished by fine or imprisonment, or both. <br />Obviously, the permanent aolution to the problem would be for you to }�ave your <br />parking lot as you have previously Indlcatecl ts your eventual Intent.
