It is my understanding that the Ciry is wcll <br />familiar with Mr. Skinncrs work, and has accepted similer certifications in the past. As <br />you will notc, Mr. Skinncr opincs: <br />The upper sign is attached to thc face of the upper structure with 8' at each <br />cnd cxtending past thc structurc. The en6re sign is constructed of a steel <br />frame with pressurc trcatcd plywood panels. The cxtcnsions arc supported <br />Ev stecl swts anchored to the roof. Thc one item not provided for in the <br />original sign was n base conncction for ihesc extcnsions. 1 worked with ihc <br />owncr to fabricatc and install a base plate at thcse hvo comers to which the <br />sign is sccurcly fastcned to thc structure.
