DAVIS AND THE HIGH SIREET PhOPERTY <br />On July 29, 1991, I received a phone call from Paul Bustard, the tndividual <br />working with Mr. Davis in an effort to purchase the High Street property. <br />Paul advised me that Mr. Davis has once again backed down from selling the <br />property. <br />Paul said that he could not spend any more time on this pzoject with Mr. <br />Davis. It has been about a year that Paul has been trying to crork with Mr. <br />Davis and the "on-again, off-again" deal to sell the property. <br />��. � On July 24 and July 31, 1991, the Council adopted two resolutions addressing <br />the bid awarded for demolition of the buildings situated at 3919 and 3923 High <br />Street. These resolutions released the contr:+ctor from all obligationa to <br />� <br />demolish the buildings. <br />As required by the resolutions, if the pending :31e did not close on or before <br />August 7, 1991, Cit�• staff was to present this ata_`f report to Council prior <br />��� to further action being taken by the City related to the demol'.tion of the <br />buildings. <br />(� <br />_,i 1 <br />1 <br />At this time, Staff recommends praceeciing with abatement of the buildings and <br />publicly calling for bids for the demolition of the buildings. <br />]$�0�211 <br />Lacation: 2737 Wetmore Avenue <br />CITY OF EV[RETT • 3002 Weto�ore • Everett.
