}:R : � � � � � Sr ��1 -- ,._ � RESOLUTION N0. 3� li"b RESOLUTION conceming demolition of bulldings eitnated ai 3919 High Street, �erett, Washington WHEREAS, the Everett City Council passed Resolution No. 3387 on October 24, 1930, authorizing the demolition of the buildings situated at 3919 High Street, �erett, Washington; and l�}IEREAS, the Everett City Council, an May 21, 1991, awarded a bid to Brad Mason Trucking and Excavating, Inc., for demotition of the buildings at 3919 High Everett, subject to the City Working with the property owi:er in order to possibly avert the need for demolition; and WHEREAS, tlie Everett City Council finds that the owner of the proper[y has a sale pending which rrould resulc in the rehabilitation of the building; and WHEREAS, the �erett City Council finds that the rehabili[ation of the buildings rather than demolition of the buildings xould be preEerable fer bo[h the City an3 tlie property owner; and WHEREAS, the �etett City Council finds that due to the pending sale of [he subject property, demolition of the buildings will not be required; NUW, TIIEdEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 9Y THE C1TY COUHCIL OF TNE CITY OF EVERETT: 1. That due to the pending sale, the buildings located at 3919 High Street will not be demolished. 2. That Brad Mason Truckin� and F�ccavating is hereby released by the City from its obligation for demoli[ion of the buildings at 3919 High Street, as es[ablished by the bid award dated May 21, 1991. 3. That if the pending sale has not closed o¢ or before August 7, 1991, City staf: shall report to Co il before further action is taken by the City related to the demolit oc of the buildings. ' !
