I have addressed <br />each of your items. Please note the references in this letter are to page numbers on the blueprints <br />that you will find on the bottom right hand side of each page. You will be able to find each poiM <br />quickly and easily from this. <br />Item #1 <br />Item #2 <br />Item �3 <br />Item #4 <br />Item #5 <br />Provide footings at ali posts. Footings shall rest on undisturbed soil not less tha� 18" <br />below the finished grade. <br />See Page #2-Footings for cantilever will be not less than 18" below finished grade <br />and will consist of concrete. <br />All new floor areas (back closet/porch) require minimum R-30 insulation. <br />We will place R-30 value or better under the new floor areas of the rear closet and front <br />porch. <br />6 x 8 beam in basement appears to be overspanned. Verify that each end of beams <br />are supported. <br />See Page #1-A 6 x 8 post will be placed to support the end of the floor beam. It will <br />be positively connected to the floor with a plate designed to accept a post and lag <br />bolted to the basement floor. The post will be connected to the floor beam with braces. <br />Windows within 24" of either edge of a door in a closed position shall be tempered <br />glass. <br />The glass within 24" of the door in s closed position will be tempered. <br />Verify header size at west badroom and at large living room window. <br />The headers in the west bedroom and the living room are 4 x 8. <br />
