May 15, 1975 1� J 2408 Highland The west exterior of the building shows peeling paint. Some deterioration of wood members. The porch is in bad condition, should be repaired, steps should be repaires. North side of the building appears to be in good condition, this side of the building has some peeling paint, has a hole in thd�llent pipe from the bathroom. Back stairs are in need of repair.rafter flashing in need of repair. South side of house appears to be in good condition, some peeling paint. General appearance of exterior is fair. East Bedroom: Improper overhead light connection, improper wiring of light in closet. Living room all items appear to be satisfactory except probably needs one more outlet,there are now three. East bedroom: One outlet. Code requires four. Electrical outlet in east bedroom is improperly fastened, it is loose. Kitchen: Light fixture over sink improper, not switched, has pull chain appears not to be grounded. Strainer to trap tail pipe connection leaks, should be replaced. Just to south of door into kitchen on kitchen east wall there is a low bare wiring. Wiring should be covered, should be one more applia:.ce circuit at kitchen sink counter according to electrical code. No outlet in dining nook. Laundry room 220 volt outlet loose, all wiring exposed to the eutsi-det"-t — leiling outlet in laundry room seems to be improperly installed, coulc be a hazard. Baseboard heater in bathroom, appears to be scorching the floor. Detected cross connection of water tank for toilet and ap"siphoned ball cock to be installed in the toilet. In rear bedroom there is a water heater hooked up in an alcove off of the bedroom, appears to be elect ical. There is a set of stairways leading to the attic area constructed a to compliance to the Building Code. There is one outlet in the bedroom, there is a switch on the east wall of the bedroom. Again appears the bedroom may be under ventilated, and improper exiting to the outside. Upstairs attic area appeared to be lived in, wiring had been installed, Checked records in office and no permits have been issued for electrical since 1970.'? - T
