May 22, 1975 2408 Highland 2. Plumbing, Section 1001(f) 2a. Strainer to trap connection leaks. 2b. Cross connection in toilet water tank. Replace existing ball cock with anti siphon ball cock. 2c. There exists a hole in the base of the 4 inch vent stack. Section 1001(f) 3. Wiring Section 1001(e) 3a. Wiring from panel within 48 inches of the floor and wiring passing thru the floor is exposed. This wiring must be either concealed in the wall or protected with rigid conduit as set forth in Section 300-4 of the electrical code. Section 1001(e). 3b. Dryer lead is improperly installed. Lead must be protected and terminate in metal box. As set forth in the electrical code. Section 1001(e). 3c. Light fixture in the east bedroom closet improperly wired. This item should be removed. Section 1001(e). 3d. Overhead light fixture improperly installed. Connection should be made in the box with solder - less connectors and not exposed. Section 1001(e). 3e. The ceiling light fixture in the laundry room appears to be hazardous. Section 1001(e). 3f. An outlet in east kitchen wall has been removed. Replace outlet or cap bare wires with solderless connectors and cover with solid plate. Section 1001(e). Other items. The following items are additional deficiencies governed by the electrical codes and enabling ordinance 299-74, which should be but are not required to be corrected. 1. An additional outlet should be provided in the east bedroom. 2. Anadditional outlet should be provided at the kitchen counter. 3. Three additional outlets should.be provided in the west bedroom. 4. All. pull chain switched overh ad outlets should be corrected by providing wall switches.
