May 22, 1975 <br />2408 Highland <br />2. Plumbing, Section 1001(f) <br />2a. Strainer to trap connection leaks. <br />2b. Cross connection in toilet water tank. Replace <br />existing ball cock with anti siphon ball cock. <br />2c. There exists a hole in the base of the 4 inch <br />vent stack. Section 1001(f) <br />3. Wiring Section 1001(e) <br />3a. Wiring from panel within 48 inches of the floor <br />and wiring passing thru the floor is exposed. This <br />wiring must be either concealed in the wall or <br />protected with rigid conduit as set forth in <br />Section 300-4 of the electrical code. Section <br />1001(e). <br />3b. Dryer lead is improperly installed. Lead must be <br />protected and terminate in metal box. As set <br />forth in the electrical code. Section 1001(e). <br />3c. Light fixture in the east bedroom closet improperly <br />wired. This item should be removed. Section <br />1001(e). <br />3d. Overhead light fixture improperly installed. <br />Connection should be made in the box with solder - <br />less connectors and not exposed. Section 1001(e). <br />3e. The ceiling light fixture in the laundry room <br />appears to be hazardous. Section 1001(e). <br />3f. An outlet in east kitchen wall has been removed. <br />Replace outlet or cap bare wires with solderless <br />connectors and cover with solid plate. Section <br />1001(e). <br />Other items. <br />The following items are additional deficiencies governed by <br />the electrical codes and enabling ordinance 299-74, which <br />should be but are not required to be corrected. <br />1. An additional outlet should be provided in the east <br />bedroom. <br />2. Anadditional outlet should be provided at the <br />kitchen counter. <br />3. Three additional outlets should.be provided in the <br />west bedroom. <br />4. All. pull chain switched overh ad outlets should <br />be corrected by providing wall switches. <br />
