� <br />� <br />N <br />REPORT <br />FROM: Marian Payne, Housing Inspector <br />D,4TE: Sept. 19, 1991 <br />SU13J: 250G Highland Ave., Everett, WA <br />.1ft��r receivinq e complaint regarding this rental uni.t, an <br />inspection was conducted and the following deficiencies were <br />noted pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code: <br />1. Light fixtures on ceilings are inoperable. Every ' <br />habitable room shall contain at least two electrical <br />convenience outlets or one convenience outlet and ont+ <br />electrical light fixture. <br />2. Smoke detector does not function. <br />3. There is inadequate heatin9 facilities. Every dwelling <br />unit shall be provided with heatin9 facilities ca�able <br />of maintainin9 a room temperature of 7U degrees F. at a <br />point 3 feet above tlie floor in all habitable rooms. <br />4. The laundry room, bathroom, and kit.chen lean away frem <br />the house due to a deteriorated foundation. 5upport <br />posts are in touch with the earth and are rotted. <br />Other .foundation members are rotted, deteriorated and <br />inadequate. <br />5. There is exposed wood around the shower stall. <br />6. Ceiling heiqhts in the h�uce are not adequate. <br />Habitable spaces shall have a ceiling height of not less <br />than 7 feet 6 inches. Kitchens, halls, bathrooms and <br />toilet compartments may have a ceiling hei9ht of not <br />less than 7 feet measured to the lowest pro�ection from <br />the ceiling. �� <br />7 <br />0 <br />The wiring f.or the bui.lding is old, fii_�ed ar�d unstable. <br />The roof is r,overed wit:li aluminum ancl there is not <br />vent'ilation for the attic space. <br />9.
