T0: FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: Ray Stephanson, Council President Jim Langus, Chief Administrative Assistant Marian Dent, Housing Inspector � December 4, 1984 , Dan Robbins - 6719 Highland I talked with Dan's sister, Sharon Johnston, on Thursday, November 29, and she advised me that Dan would be out o` the house and relocated to another living quarters on December 1, 1984. I didn't ask where Dan would be relocated to and she did not offer the information. Yesterday I went out to the house and found it empty so I posted another notice "Illegal to Occupy" which is a standard procedure for a structure in such a substandard condition and ui�occupied. The property is for sale and I have been in contact with the listing agent. He has indicated that there is a party very interested in the property and the party would demolisli the structure if the deal goes through. The deal is a cash deal and would therefore expedite demol- ition of the house. The real estate agency has already received several bids on demolition and are acting quickly in trying tu get this matter resolved. To insure that the house is demolished within the next month or two, I will continue with abatement proceedings in the event the real estate deal falls through. Up to this time everything has gone according to schedule and I want to thank all the Council members and you, Jim, for your tremendous support in accomplishing the difficult task put before the City Staff.
